Easter Hot Chocolate

A yummy, fun and festive version of the classic!

  • 1/2-1 cup candy melts (your preferred colour)
  • 2 cups of steamed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • Easter sprinkles
  • Whipped cream (aerosol or homemade)
  • 1-2 shots espresso (optional, if want a mocha)
  • White Chocolate melted
  1. Melt candy melts in a microwave for 30 second increments. Once melted place in a bowl with a spout/large liquid measuring cup.
  2. Use an espresso machine to steam 2 cups of milk, or alternatively heat milk in a small pot on the stove.
  3. Whisk together milk and melted candy melts in bowl until well combined. Add vanilla and salt.
  4. To prepare your mug: dip the rim of your mug in melted candy melts and then dip in sprinkles (I put sprinkles on a plate to help with dipping).
  5. Fill your mug with hot chocolate, top with whipped cream or foam (if mocha) and drizzle with candy melt and top with bunny ears. To make bunny ears see instructions above.
