I promised to give you guys a recipe to use up that leftover pie dough from those decadent baked apples, and this recipe will not fail you. When my dad was growing up whenever my Omi made pie she would use the scraps to make cinnamon rolls. They were apparently delicious, but I never had the chance to try them before she passed away. My dad was going to be flying to Toronto to visit my nephew, and I thought this was something he could pack in his bag and snack on the plane. My mom ended up actually doing the work because I was absolutely exhausted. These are really simple to put together and are extremely addictive. They are perfect to snack on or to serve at your next brunch. This post is not going to feature a recipe as this is not something you measure, but just something you eyeball. But below are the steps and the basic idea of how to put these together.
